Exploring Old San Juan was both relaxing and enjoyable. The old architecture and cobblestone streets are very unique. The best way to tour the town of San Juan is on foot and I would recommend to travel lite and bring a good camera. A good place to eat in the area is the Tijuana Bar and Grill which is located on the waters edge near the restored Pirate ship replica and the cruise ship port.
On the weekends there will be many tourists and vendors in the area, streets will be congested but relaxing with a nice cool sea breeze.
Parking spots will be difficult to find but when you are lucky enough to locate one make sure you lock your vehicle and camouflage any luggage or electronics to the best of your ability.
After a long day of site seeing we went back to enjoy our accomodations at the Condo Vanderbilt. A high end resort that offers beautiful pools, a beach side lagoon for swimming and snorkeling, great views.E
Enjoy taking a walk to enjoy the cool sea breeze, high energy streets and surroundings and plenty of places to dine, shop and lounge.
